Welcome to the home of SkyHighGam3r!
I've been into video games since as far back as I can remember, quite literally. My earliest memory is of sitting in a diaper on our living room floor with my older brother, playing Super Mario Bros. on our family's Nintendo Entertainment System.

Over the past 30 years my love for the interactive medium has blossomed into an unquenchable fascination, an outright lifestyle, and a bit of an obsession. That passion has brought me into a number of different communities from die-hard gamers, to emulation enthusiasts, and historical preservationists.

I was honored to write the monthly newsletter for the website EmuParadise for a few years, bringing small digestible game recommendations and information to over 80,000 subscribers. If you're familiar with the emulation scene, you'll know that times have changed, and in light of that I'm seeking to branch out, and try new things.
I've opened this website as a place where I can write new articles, not just about retro-games, but gaming as a whole. This could well be anything from a continuation of my work at EmuParadise, to lengthier opinion pieces, reviews, and thoughts on events in the industry - only time will tell, but the sky is the limit.
If you're new to my work, expect to see information about gaming from all eras, a deep interest in the history of the medium, and a rabid passion for preservation.
